I'm going with Pedro Obiang as my number one, with Antonio as runner up.

Aye. 'Tis, I tell thee.

Only the pure and righteous can win it and overcome this curs-sed award, Brooking, for instance, but mere mortals, win it at your peril.

It's usually true about the kiss of death for the winner.

Give it to Payet again.

Is the Hammer of the year award cursed?

Easy choice, Antonio all day long. Earned a few quid this season with him as first goal scorer. 8/1 Saturday!!

give it to noble, then retire his shirt number and build a statue of him, the statue will probably be quicker and more use

Re: HOTY 16/17
Antonio and Obiang are the only two that imo have improved on last season. Ogbonna was matching last seasons form but then got injured. Fernandes and Fletcher have shown promise but have not had enough game time. The rest have either been off form, disinterested or injured.

I don't understand the Obiang love in. Certainly for most improved player, but he doesn't strike me as being much more than a dependable midfielder. What am I missing?
